SHAPE MY LIFE

Lord, shape my life as only You can,
Guiding each day by Your loving plan;
Take what You need and give what You will;
My life is Yours to use and to fill

Love is giving for the world’s needs,
Love is sharing as the Spirit leads,
Love is caring when the world cries,
Love is compassion with Christlike eyes.

For the beauty of each hour
Hill and vale and tree and flower,
Lord of all, to Thee we raise
This our hymn of grateful praise.

PUT OUR TRUST IN LORD

When we put our trust in You, Lord,
We’ll be like a tree that’s growing
Beside waters that are flowing,
Bearing fruit and standing strong.

YOU ARE THERE

Lord, sometimes I feel as if You don’t care about
my life. When those times come, please remind me
of Your character as You did David. Help me to
lean on You again and know that You are there.

WE NEED NOT FEAR

Though evil may surround us,
We need not fear defeat;
For when God fights the battle,
Our enemies retreat.

YOU MAY LEAD

I may not always understand
The way that You may lead,
But, Lord, in faith I’ll clasp Your hand
And trust You for each need

FROM THE CROSS ON CALVARY

From the wondrous cross on Calvary
Flows the stream that still avails,
Cleansing hearts and bringing victory
Through that love which never fails.

GIVE US HUMILITY AND SENSITIVITY

Lord, give us humility and sensitivity to listen
to advice from loved ones who know You well.
Show us the right thing to do in our uncertain
times and to trust You for the results. Amen.

CHANGE ME

O Lord, my God, may Your Word become so
much a part of me that obedience comes
naturally and cheerfully from my heart.
Change me and mold me into Your image.

A FRAGRANCE

Lord, I’m so thankful that because You first loved me,
I am able to love others. Please spread the sweet
fragrance of Your love through me to everyone
I interact with today. Amen.

TRUST IN YOU

Lord, in our weak and fearful moments, remind
us that Your love for us guarantees Your
presence with us and Your power against
our fears. Teach us to trust in You.

FAITHFUL

Though the stress and strain of life
My thread of faith may break,
The cable of God’s faithfulness
No storm can ever shake

INTO HIS HANDS

Into His hands I lay the fears that haunt me,
The dread of future ills that may befall;
Into His hands I lay the doubts that taunt me,
And rest securely, trusting Him for all

WHEN WE WALK WITH HIM

When we walk with the Lord in the light of His Word,
What a glory He sheds on our way!
While we do His good will, He abides with us still,
And with all who will trust and obey.

THINK ABOUT HIS LOVE

Love brought Him down from the glory,
Love made Him come from the sky;
Love in His heart for the sinner
Led Him to suffer and die

TAKE YOUR PLACE

Lord, You are so awesome and great. But sometimes in
ignorance and arrogance I attempt to take Your place.
I humbly submit my life to You anew and acknowledge
that all glory and praise belongs to You. Amen.

Have you felt the joy of the shepherds,
Who were first to behold the sight
Of that holy Child of Mary,
On that wonderful Christmas night?
