SHAPE MY LIFE

Lord, shape my life as only You can,
Guiding each day by Your loving plan;
Take what You need and give what You will;
My life is Yours to use and to fill

CHANGE ME

O Lord, my God, may Your Word become so
much a part of me that obedience comes
naturally and cheerfully from my heart.
Change me and mold me into Your image.

WHEN WE WALK WITH HIM

When we walk with the Lord in the light of His Word,
What a glory He sheds on our way!
While we do His good will, He abides with us still,
And with all who will trust and obey.

SELF DESTRUCTIVE HATRED

Harboring hatred in the heart
Will not lead to success;
But following truth and love and grace
Will lead to blessedness

LEARN FROM OUR MISTAKES

If others learn from our mistakes,
And it saves them from the pain
That we ourselves experienced—
Then it wasn’t all in vain

TURN

Oh, why not turn while yet you may;
Too late, it soon will be—
A glorious life you may possess
Throughout eternity.

OBEY HIM

Don’t listen to the Word of God
And then ignore what you have heard;
Instead obey God’s will for you—
Be doers of the Word

WE CAN HELP THEM

When our friends encounter trials,
We can help them if we’re near;
Some may need a word of comfort,
Others just a listening ear.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

First impressions can mislead us
For we do not know the heart;
We can often be mistaken
Since we only know in part.

GIVE HIM YOUR ALL

Think not your work of no account
Although it may be small;
The Lord marks well your faithfulness
When you give Him your all.

OUR TIME

We’re all accountable to God
For how we use our time each day;
Are moments chosen carefully,
Or wasted mindlessly away?

WE CAN’T ESCAPE

We cannot hide from God
No matter how we try
For He knows all we think and do
We can’t escape His eye

The pure and the noble

Lord, help us to think of the right and the true,
The pure and the noble—it all points to You;
For if we consider what’s worthy of praise,
We’ll then want to live for You all of our days

GUARD WELL YOUR LIFE

O child of God, guard well your life
From anything that stains the heart;
Forsake those things that soil the mind—
Your Father wants you set apart.

THE HOLINESS

The holiness of God demands
A heart that’s pure within,
Yet grace unites with holiness
To purge the heart from sin

THE POWER IN WORDS

The power in words can build up or tear down—
Create a big smile or produce a sad frown;
So in all your contacts with people each day,
Be sure to encourage in all that you say.

TO THOSE WHO HATE YOU

Lord, help us not respond in kind
To those who hate and turn from You;
Instead, help us to love and pray
That someday they’ll accept what’s true

God's Love Through Me

To love our neighbors as ourselves
Is not an easy thing to do;
So Lord, please show us how to love
As we attempt to follow You

HELPING HAND

Our world around us surges—duties vie
For all our time, our energies, our care;
But greater duty urges; don’t pass by
A hurting heart whose burden we may share.

HOLD YOUR TONGUE

When we hold our tongues and listen,
We communicate our care;
For an open ear speaks volumes
To a heart that’s in despair
